Copycat barista coffee so close to Starbucks, you'll think you died and went to coffee heaven. But, secret immune boosters will keep you alive and well. Make it!
This Starbucks knockoff drink will have you thinking a barista made it. It's so creamy and has that distinct cinnamon dolce flavor you love. It's really easy to make.
My LFG riff has a surprise element that makes this drink beneficial to your immune system. Have you tried Four Sigmatic mushroom coffee yet? It's delicious! There's no weird mushroom taste at all.
Any strong coffee will do. But I like Four Sigmatic because it's strong organic coffee with the added health benefits of mushrooms. The one I've been drinking lately is their "think" brew with a potent 250 mg each of lion's mane and chaga mushrooms. You can try it this lion's mane coffee with my discount link bit.ly/LFGroar . Now, to make this amazing copycat latte, let's get to the recipe.
The Recipe
LFG Cinnamon Dolce Latte
4 heaping tsp. Four Sigmatic "Think" Coffee Grounds with Lions Mane
1 t Cinnamon
8-10 drops Caramel Stevia Leaf Extract
1/4 Cup Stretched Almond or Coconut Milk
Whipped Coconut Cream
Step 1: Brew the Coffee
In a French press, put coffee and cinnamon together into the bottom of the canister. Fill the canister with boiling water. Stir and set the press on top keep steam in and steep. This makes for a nice strong cinnamon-infused brew that is similar to espresso in strength, but has that signature Starbucks cinnomon dolce taste.
Step 2: Stretch the Milk
In a small saucepan, heat the milk to just steaming, but not boiling. Aerate the hot milk with a small latte whipping tool, or pour the hot milk between two glasses and try to "stretch" the stream as tall as you can without spilling. This get air into the hot milk; and air translates to foam.
Step 3: Make Your Latte
Plunge the press down to the bottom of the cylinder to filter and aerate your coffee. Into a tall latte glass, pour 1 cup of pressed Four Sigmatic "Think" brewed coffee. Add 8-10 drops of caramel stevia extract. Follow with 1/2 cup of stretched milk. Garnish with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon.
SIP & ENJOY! Oh hell, have two!
Thanks for the comment Paul. Four Sigmatic is transparent about sourcing mushrooms. Their batches undergo rigorous third-party testing for heavy metals and they publish their results. Take a gander. https://us.foursigmatic.com/quality#heavy-metals
Sounds good to me I take 1500 mg of lion's mane and turkey tail..
But, where to your mushroom come from? It's very important if they come from China they're probably full of lead and other pollutants... Have seen chaga at my grocery store it comes from China...
Please let me know.
